Ghost Chair
20th anniversary
The Ghost Chair,
designed by Cini Boeri and Tomu Katayanagi in 1987, made with 0.5”
thick curved glass is so simple and beautiful. The construction
consists of one piece of moulded glass and is designed to bear up to
150kg of load. It is on permanent display at the Corning Museum of
Glass in New York and the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. The Ghost
Chair recently featured as "Object of the Week" in the Wall Street
Journal.
