This is an installation which consists of a sequence of opaque crystal bars, bent into a hyperbolic shape. The ends of the bars are perfectly flat and rest on the vertical and horizontal planes. The title of the piece refers to the physical and metaphorical implications of the term -hyperbole-. To hyperbolize means "to express oneself with many different hyperboles" The title defines literally, and therefore ironically, the installation as it physically represents a series of hyperbolic elements, leaning on the intersecting planes; and metaphorically as the crystal hyperbolic bent bars draw a trace of light between the horizontal and vertical planes, connecting or separating them
