VESSELS
From ancient times the vessel has served mankind in many ways, from day to day needs for water and grain, to the non-functional object of beauty.

The vessels #1, #3, and #7 are created in an traditional casting technique. The mould is created from a block of solid wood divided in to 2 halves.

The artist has worked with the carver to create the form in reverse, then the master blower to rolls the clear crystal mass over the coloured fragments of the artists choice, then finally the molten mass is blown into the mould.
