Blown Glass Forms by Deb Jones
"Soul forms. I am concerned with the human condition; with our accelerating world and busy lifestyle. I want this work to inspire a sense of space, quiet and comfort. Although I did not make a direct connection, the forms are reminiscent of seeds, cells and organs. The surface is of a matt finish to soften and make them tactile." |

Blown Glass Scent Bottles by Nick Mount
"My work is composed primarily of blown glass forms, some of which are cut, polished and laminated together in seemingly random fabrications. Most of the blowing and colouring techniques I use in my work are rooted in the traditions of Venetian glass working." |

Hand blown glass vessels by Tegan Jane Empson
"This body of work is the culmination of my first thorough investigation into the murrine technique: Murrina/murrhine is a mosaic technique, whereby coloured cane sections or mosaic pieces are embedded into the hot glass before the piece is blown into its final shape." |

Hot formed blown glass foils by Brendan Scott French
"I am investigating ways of subverting concrete symbols of violence and aggression. These weapons of beauty explore the possibility of emotion saturating fear and indifference with a clear forceful vitality composed infinitely from the realm of the spiritual." |

Kiln formed, wheel worked and engraved glass by Jessica Loughlin
"I aim for my work to hold the essence of the landscape. In this landscape I stand at a central point bound only by the horizon. Through my work I aim to express freedom. Freedom from all the distractions that may clutter our lives in a search for an inner understanding." |
