Bellini
Born in Milan in
1935, Bellini graduated in the faculty of architecture at the Engineering
University of Milan in 1961. Bellini’s credentials clearly make him one
of the leaders in global design: 25 of his works in MOMA’s permanent
collection; designed the Tokyo Design Center; won the Compasso d’Oro
not only for Le Bambole but for 6 other products; was editor-in-chief
of Domus for 6 years; designed the Tokyo Design Center and most
recently won the competition to design the Department of Islamic Arts at
the Louvre (2009).
