“As with most of her paintings, the title, Cinnamon Girl, relates to an “obscure memory” from childhood. To Beth general viewer, the titles are ambiguous, almost playful in their teasing, but for the artist, they’re an essential part of her process, often guiding the mood of the work.” – Lucy Hawthorne
