Harrison Bowe is an emerging artist based in Hobart, Tasmania. Bowe completed his Bachelor of fine art at the University of Tasmania in 2020. Bowe conducts a diverse practice encompassing painting, photography and performance. He is a highly physical and tactile person, this motivates and heavily influences his practice.
“I make art about the sensations and emotive qualities present within the act of movement. A theme that stems from an intense need for physical exertion and expression. Beyond ones associations the emotive quality of a form lies in the process of its creation. What an object is comprised of and what it is subject to determines its presence. The true essence of what I do lies within exploring this process…
