Congratulations to Josh Foley who has been announced a finalist in this year Glover Prize.
Presented annual by The John Glover Society, the Glover Prize is is judged on the best contemporary landscape painting of Tasmania. Defined in its broadest sense, each landscape painting must aim is to stimulate conversations about the meaning and possibilities expressed in the words landscape, painting and Tasmania. The judges for the Glover Prize 2021 are Director of the Philip Bacon Gallery, Philip Bacon AM; QVMAG Director Tracy Puklowski; and Artist and Curator Julie Gough.
In 2011 Josh Foley won The John Glover Prize back in 2011, which at the time was the richest landscape prize in Australia.
