Despard Gallery is thrilled to present a special curated exhibition bringing together six multi-generational, multi-disciplinary emerging and early career Tasmanian women artists. Now in its second iteration, the exhibition showcases a diverse range of creative approaches and mediums, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics, with new works by Jo Chew, Samantha Dennis, Ileigh Hellier, Rosanagh May, Cassie Sullivan and Sophie Witter.
To compliment this special exhibition, Despard Gallery has published an extensive digital exhibition catalogue. The catalogue features an extended exhibition introduction, individual artist bios and statements, all exhibition artworks and virtual viewing room images. Special additions include links to listen to the individual songs written and performed by Claire Anne Taylor that has inspired the new body of ceramic works by Rosanagh May.
