Despard Gallery would like to congratulate contemporary ceramic artist Rosanagh May, who is currently featured in the latest issue of Island magazine. Read an article written by Tamzen Brewster to lean about May’s distinctive ceramics based practice and her use of song lyrics.
‘May’s work act as somewhat of a shine to love in all its mess and beauty, holding in permanent recognition of the love, sentiment or heartache expressed within song. When I asked Rosanagh whatever he often-sealed void with these pieces held for her, she laughed: ‘All of my hopes and dreams’.
