Despard Gallery would like to congratulate Tasmanian artist Harrison Bowe, who has recently been featured in VAULT magazine. Arts writer Courtney Kidd caught up with Harrison at his studio in Hobart to talk about his new body of paintings and forthcoming solo exhibition Of Peaks And Tides at Despard Gallery. Courtney delves in to Harrison’s creative influences, growing up in Tasmania, bushwalking in the remote south-west national park and the power of the painted landscape.
