Despard Gallery is excited to present a sneak peek at the upcoming visually spectacular solo exhibition by Tasmanian painter, Josh Foley.
Josh Foley is a contemporary artist based in Launceston, northern Tasmania. In his third solo show with Despard Gallery, Foley has developed a new body of work that examines the materiality of paint and the plasticity of popular imagery. Inspired by an ongoing interest in how painting can alter personal perception, Foley draws from a variety of traditional and contemporary subject matter, including landscape and still life.
