Despard Gallery is proud to share two new works by George Kennedy after his recent return from a month long stay on King Island as part of their Artist Residency Program. As part of this experience, Kennedy immersed himself in the local environment gaining valuable creative insights into this unique Tasmanian environment, its history and community.
Despard Gallery is proud to announce that George will be having his inaugural solo exhibition in October 2024. Kennedy will also be sharing a some more of his new paintings created as part of the King Island residency in a ‘pop-up’ exhibition later this year.
