Despard Gallery is pleased to host a joint exhibition by established artists Julienne Harris and Jeffery Mincham AM.
Julienne Harris and Jeff Mincham AM are established contemporary artist with careers spanning over forty years. Both artists are nationally recognised as leaders in their field with professional careers that include countless solo exhibitions, group shows, prestigious national prize accolades and publications. This significant exhibition marks the first time that Harris and Mincham have shown work together, each demonstrating true mastery in their field through powerful new bodies of work.
Uniting the two artists is a joint creative philosophy underpinned by intuition, exploration and enquiry. Both Harris and Mincham are driven by a passion to investigate the infinite possibilities that comes with practicing art, pushing their mediums to the limit of creative expression. Captured within both their approaches is an personal response to the Australian landscape, with fluid gestures that recall the many environmental elements that make up the rhythms and flux of nature.
