Congratulations to artists Anne Morrison and George Kennedy, who have both she awarded the opportunity to participate in the King Island Artist Residency Program in 2023.
Both artists will be travelling to King Island for a four week residency, where they will be immersing themselves in the local environment, developing new work and engaging the local community through education programs.
Both artists will be presenting new bodies of work next year. Morrison will be holding a solo exhibition opening 23 August, where Kennedy will be participating in a group exhibition Abstraction, opening 11 January 2023, alongside Paul Snell and Joanne Currie Nalingu.
