Despard Gallery is pleased to host the second curated exhibition featuring private sales of significant artworks of important mid-career and established Australian artists. The Collectors’ Exhibition series celebrates an array of iconic works, through a selection of invited private sales.
An established commercial gallery for over 35 years, Despard has built a national reputation for supporting contemporary Australian artists through its monthly program of solo and curated group exhibitions, sharing iconic artworks across a range of media. Alongside representing leading established Tasmanian artists, Despard continues to play a key role in launching the careers of many cutting edge emerging practices.
Over this time, many significant artworks have been positioned within collections nationally. The Collectors’ Exhibition celebrates an array of iconic works, through a curated selection of invited private sales.
