Despard Gallery, in association with Arkwright & Carpenter, is pleased to invite you to an exhibition of fine and contemporary art from Tasmania presented in a unique heritage setting.
Carefully curated, The Winter Salon brings together a selection of artists from the Despard Gallery stable, who’s work embodies the close connections that we all share towards Tasmania and its unique beauty.
At the heart of the exhibition is the opportunity to celebrate our unique Tasmanian talent and widen their creative reach to new and existing clients. Oatlands has emerged to represent a growing cultural renewal of the midlands, moving in a way that articulates the artistic and geographic heart of Tasmania.
In the first of a planned series of Winter collaborations, we are proud to present work of artists including Mathew Simms, Anthea Boden, Sam Field, Maggie Jeffries, Milan Milojevic, Keryn Fountain, George Kennedy, Graham Lang & Geoff Dyer.
